Samsung One UI 7 copies iPhone features!

Ana sayfa / News

Samsung’s new One UI 7 update comes with a number of big changes for Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets, coming alongside Android 15. While One UI 7 offers more AI functionality, it’s also lifted some of the iPhone’s beloved features.

Recent leaks show that one of the most noticeable changes in One UI 7 is a revamped two-page notification panel. This panel provides separate access to notifications and the Quick Settings panel. Also, Samsung is said to have paid attention to all system icons and all Galaxy apps will get a complete makeover. This innovation carries skeuomorphic design cues with more depth, shadows and 3D elements.

It also appears that Samsung will implement its own version of Apple’s Dynamic Island feature with this update. The leaks include a short video showing the expansion of a timer related to the status bar chip. This animation appears and disappears in a different way than the use of Dynamic Island on Apple devices.

Another feature coming with the One UI 7 update will be “Continuity Notifications”. This will make it possible to send video calls between any Galaxy phone logged into the same Samsung account. The feature is similar to Google’s Cross-Device Services and allows you to move calls and messages between smartphones, Chromebooks and browsers.

When will Samsung release the One UI 7 beta?

One UI 7 beta is coming sooner than we thought with Samsung's biggest visual updates. Let's have a look at the details.

Other changes include more rounded UI elements, menu clicks, button placeholders and much more. Samsung is expected to confirm the distribution of the One UI 7 beta starting Monday, so we won’t have long to wait to see how accurate these leaks are.
